About US

Heuristic Guru is a Data Science and Data Analytics Consultancy. We have created this website to provide a knowledge base where South Africans can find out more about the Polyphagous Shothole Borer (PSHB), and provide solutions that can help combat the spread.

We have partnered with Solution House to develop the Tree Survey mobile app that is being used to map the distribution of PSHB within South Africa.

We provide services which enable individuals, employees and companies to develop strategies and technology patterns that drive value within the workplace.

The Tree Survey mobile app allows you to report infestations. Each reported incident receives in-app feedback. You can just report the bug, or you can select a further action from either a City Parks official or a private service provider.
